HTC launches 64 Bit Desire 510 with Android Kitkat

HTC is known for launching premium handsets with great looks and it's new launch is no exception. HTC Desire 510 is first Android phone with 64 bit processor.

HTC Desire 510 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 306 GPU. It has a 4.7" FWVGA display, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot.



HTC Desire 510 also has a 5-megapixels rear camera with flash and VGA front camera for video chatting and selfie's. HTC Desire 510 is inspired by Desire 816 design and boast similar design language but boomsound is missing.

Desire 510 is powered by Android Kitkat 4.4 which won't be able to utilize 64 bit CPU until Android L update. It also comes with 4G LTE, WiFi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Glonass and Micro USB. It also comes with 2100mAh battery.

Desire 510 will be launched in Asia, Europe and Asia in coming few days and should be priced around ₹ 15,000 - ₹ 18,000 ($289-$300).

The industry has been talking about the 4G effect for so long now that it's easy to forget that only a small selection of top-end devices are taking advantage of the technology. HTC Butterfly 2 Officially announced for India

HTC who is slightly recovering from trauma it received with success of Samsung Galaxy lineup is quickly recovering thanks to lesser yet better new products with emphasis on software updates HTC is minting gold again. Now HTC has launched HTC Butterfly 2.

HTC Butterfly 2 succeeds the original butterfly and has 5-inch, full-HD 1080p display, along with quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz. It also has 2 GB RAM and comes in 16GB/32GB variants and micro-sd slot which can take cards upto 128 GB.



As seen on HTC One M8 there's a duo camera although now main camera is of 13-megapixels instead of ultrapixels on M8. The front camera is same BSI 5 megapixels which offers excellent selfie's and supports 1080p video recording.

HTC Butterfly 2 will come in single sim variant and feature HTC Sense 6 on Android Kitkat. It will also feature 4G, 3G, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, NFC and DLNA. It will come in three colors Blue, Red and White.



It is also waterproof and dustproof with IPX5/IPX7 certification and comes with Boom Sound front stereo speakers with built in amplifiers. It also has 2700 mAh battery and Infrared for Remote Control feature. HTC has partnered with Harman to provide JBL earphones which comes with special effect.

It is expected to launch in early September with a price tag of ₹ 48,999.
