Samsung Galaxy S10+ gets official TWRP support

with 0 Comment
It didn’t take long for official TWRP support for Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ to arrive following their launch in early 2018. However – as usual – this was only limited to the Exynos variants, with the Snapdragon models having to wait for a full year. While the story is still relative, it has taken a little longer for the official TWRP support to arrive on the Galaxy S10 family. Although not all of them, at least users of the S10+ variant...

This is the kind of speed that 5G promises, but on the lower end. Theoretically, 5G is capable of topping 10Gbps and even beyond and apparently, AT&T is headed in the right direction, at least based on the latest test results. The second-largest...

Apparently, the search giant is removing all apps developed by DO Global, whose popularity has seen them garner a whopping 600 million downloads in the Play Store. According to...

Besides updating the security patch level to the latest version available, OxygenOS 9.0.5 also improves the stability...

with 0 Comment
The Motorola Moto G7 Power has been selling in the U.S. for a while but it’s only now that it has found its way to Metro by T-Mobile (formerly MetroPCS). Rather than pay the $250 RRP, the T-Mobile-owned carrier wants you to part with just $60 for this device. Even without the discount, the Moto G7 Power is still a decent buy at its RRP. Now that you are saving a cool $200 on the same, it makes buying this one a no-brainer, but of course,...

One of the questions many asked when Samsung unveiled the Galaxy M series was whether the devices would be sold in the U.S. Months down the line, there is still no sign of them, but it seems the company was saving this space for the superior Galaxy A series, beginning with the Galaxy A20. Samsung hasn’t said anything regarding this matter, but while sniffing around the web, we bumped into Wi-Fi Alliance certifications for what seem like...

Google may update Chrome OS with support for Android Q apps

with 0 Comment
In 2016, Google introduced a cool feature in Chrome OS that allowed Chromebook users to download and actually install Android Nougat apps on their devices through the Play Store. Google hasn’t been keen to update this support with every Android OS release, but it seems things have changed. After Nougat, Chrome OS didn’t get an update to Oreo, with users having to wait for Pie. This suggested that the next update would wait until Android...

with 0 Comment
Technological advancements are supposed to reduce the cost of living while improving on the standards, but this is not always the case, especially with advancements in smartphone technology. Over the recent past, we’ve seen smart moves like having multiple (albeit better) cameras, support for wireless charging, and even IP6X rating in the smartphone industry making devices more expensive than ever before. And apparently, the latest innovation,...

Here’s why Android 9 Pie for Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is closer to release

with 0 Comment
Late last year, Samsung revealed a software update roadmap that put the Galaxy Tab Active 2’s Android Pie release date at October 2019. This roadmap was later revised, but the Tab Active 2 was left out this time around, suggesting that the initial date remained unchanged. With that in mind, we didn’t expect to hear anything Pie-related with respect to the Galaxy Tab Active 2 anytime soon. How wrong we were! Contrary to our expectations,...
