HTC One (M8) successor spotted in Geekbench database

with 0 Comment

HTC Logo HTC’s upcoming One (M8) successor (aka HTC 0PJA10) appeared in the benchmarking app Geekbench database earlier today. Although the database listing hasn’t revealed any new details about the phone, it has confirmed the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM in the smartphone.

Unsurprisingly, Geekbench database also mentions that HTC Hima (codename) runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

Geekbench hasn’t divulged any other details about the phone but thanks to previous leaks, we already have a fair idea of what to expect to HTC’s next flagship smartphone. The smartphone is expected to feature a 5-inch full HD display, 20MP rear camera, Ultrapixel front shooter (or 13MP front camera), Sense 7.0, 32GB of internal storage with microSD card slot and 2840 mAh battery.

In related news, Forbes is reporting that HTC’s Sense 7.0, which is set to debut with the company’s next flagship, will be a big improvement over the existing version. The new UI will reportedly take inspiration from Google Now and Windows Live Tiles to provide a more personal experience to the users via its Blinkfeed feature. In Sense 7.0, Blinkfeed will provide recommendations on what to read, places to visit and notifications for the upcoming calendar appointments.

To remind you, the One (M8) successor is scheduled to be unveiled on March 1 in Barcelona at this year’s Mobile World Congress.
