Intel Cherry Trail Intel on Monday announced that its new Cherry Trail processors for tablets have begun shipping to the manufacturers and we can expect to see them in commercial devices in H1, 2015.

Based on 14nm process, the new Atom “Cherry Trail” system on a chip (SoC) offer 64-bit computing, improved graphics, great performance and battery life as well as a capable modem with LTE-Advanced support in the form of Intel XMM 726x.
