XOLO releases new Q520s Android phone in India for INR 5,699

Xolo Q520s Indian smartphone maker XOLO has quietly released a new Android phone in the Indian market. Part of the company’s Q-Core series, the new Q520s is a budget smartphone and carries a price-tag of INR 5,699. The smartphone can now be grabbed from ebay India or brick and mortar stores in the country.


As per the XOLO website, Q520s features 4-inch WVGA IPS display, 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582M quad-core processor and Android 4.4.2. The smartphone also packs 5MP rear camera and a VGA front shooter.


On the connectivity front, XOLO has included dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in the smartphone. In addition, the Q520s comes with 1820 mAh battery, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. (via)


XOLO rolls out software updates for XOLO Opus 3


In related news, XOLO has released two minor software update for Opus 3 smartphone. The updates are available at the company website and can be downloaded now. There is no word if the updates will be available over-the-air, but the manual installation process is quite simple.
