ZTE unveils Blade V2 smartphone with Snapdragon 410

ZTE Blade V2 ZTE has quietly unveiled a new Android smartphone in the form of Blade V2, which will go on sale in the coming months.


A successor to the company’s ZTE Blade V smartphone, the V2 features a 5-inch HD display, 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Android 4.4 and 1GB of RAM. The phone also packs 8GB of internal storage, 2400 mAh battery, 4G LTE support, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter.


There is no word on the pricing of the phone or the exact availability details, but we hope to hear from the company.

ZTE says 2014 profits doubled


In related news, ZTE has shared the preliminary financial results for 2014 and stated that the profits likely rose 94 percent last year to 2.64 billion yuan ($424.5 million), while the revenue grew 8 percent to 81.2 billion yuan.


As these are preliminary results, there could be some changes in the final numbers, but these give a decent idea of ZTE’s performance last year. The company has attributed the rise in profit to 4G network division and smartphone business.
