HTC launches Desire 820s in India at INR 24,890

HTC Desire 820s As expected, HTC India has announced the launch of its Desire 820s smartphone in the country. The smartphone has got a maximum operating price (MOP) of INR 24,890 and will go on sale beginning later today.


Originally unveiled in January this year, HTC Desire 820s is a dual-SIM Android smartphone, which is powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit MT6572 octa-core processor. It sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.


The smartphone also comes with 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front shooter. In addition, HTC has included BoomSound front stereo speakers, 4G LTE support in both SIM card slots, and 2600 mAh battery.


“Our customers are gradually looking for bigger screens, faster processors, network speeds and outstanding battery life. They are creating and consuming rich video content and want greater freedom to personalise their smartphones. We know they love the flexibility that comes with expandable memory. Further to which he added, “At a very remarkable price, the HTC Desire 820s dual sim delivers the latest technical features with an outstanding user experience in a sleek, chic, slim package,” said Faisal Siddiqui, President, South Asia, HTC.


According to HTC, Desire 820s runs on Android 4.4 with HTC Sense UI and will be released in Tuxedo Grey colour option.HTC Desire 820s specifications
