Micromax releases Android 5.0-based Canvas Juice 2 smartphone

Micromax has quietly released a new Android smartphone in the form of the Canvas Juice 2. The successor to the company’s Canvas Juice, the phone is being targeted to the consumers, who want long battery life in their smartphones, with the included 3000 mAh battery.

The smartphone is now on sale at ebay India as well as physical retailers with INR 9,100 price-tag.

Micromax Canvas Juice 2 sports a 5-inch 720p HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It also comes with 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Wolfson Stereo DAC speakers.

Among other specifications, the phone runs on Android 5.0 and features 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front shooter.

We expect an official announcement in the next few days.
