Samsung India starts rolling out Android 5.0 for Galaxy S5

Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop update Samsung has finally begun rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 smartphone in the Indian market. The update is now available over-the-air as well as via Samsung Kies application.


Over 874MB in size, the update will need 3GB of free space in the internal storage of your Galaxy S5 unit. So, make sure you have enough space before initiating the update. Also, reboot your phone once after completing the update.


The official change-log is unavailable at this point, but you can expect to see material design changes, enhanced notifications, guest mode, upgraded Samsung application, performance improvements, ART as default runtime and more.
