Samsung introduces Galaxy Tab 3 V budget Android tablet

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V In addition to the announcement of the new Galaxy Tab A devices in Russia, Samsung has also unveiled an Android tablet in Malaysia. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, it is a budget slate and an upgraded version of the company’s Tab 3 Neo.


The new tablet is now available in the country at RM499 ($135) at Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung authorized dealers. It can also be grabbed from telecom operator Maxis with a two-year contract (with SurfMore50 plan) for RM239 ($65).


According to Samsung, the Tab 3 V features a 7-inch 1024x600p TN display, 1.3GHz Spreadtrum quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4. It also packs 2MP front and rear cameras as well as 8GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot and 3600 mAh battery. In addition, the company has included 3G support, FM Radio, Wi-Fi,

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V will be available in White and Black colour options. There is no word on the availability of the tablet in other markets right now, but we did find it selling at an online retailer in Vietnam.
