Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab A in 8-inch and 9.7-inch screen-sizes

Samsung has added a new tablet line-up to its portfolio in the form of Galaxy Tab A. The company on Tuesday unveiled the Tab A devices at a press event in Russia.

According to the company, Galaxy Tab A will be released in 8-inch and 9.7-inch display sizes with mid-range specifications. The full specs are unclear at this point, but we do know that the tablets feature 5MP auto-focus rear camera, 2MP front shooter, unknown Cortex-A53 processor and optional 4G support.

We will update the report as soon as get we get a confirmation on the full specifications of the Tab A.

Samsung has shared the expected pricing of the Tab A devices.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8-inch Wi-Fi: Between 16,990 rubles and 18,000 rubles ($2745-307)

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7-inch Wi-Fi: Between 20,990 rubles and 22,000 rubles ($340-371)

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8-inch LTE: Between 20,990 rubles and 22,000 rubles ($340-371)

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7-inch LTE: Between 24,990 rubles and 26,000 rubles ($404-436)

The new line-up will go on sale beginning April 2015 in Gold, Blue and Black colours.
