Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5-inch Secusmart, a BlackBerry company, has unveiled SecuTABLET, a tablet targeted to public and enterprise sector users. Based on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S 10.5, the new slate uses secure app wrapping technology from IBM, allowing it to carry and use both data with special security requirements as well as personal applications like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and WhatsApp. The device also includes Secusmart’s encryption technology to counter eavesdropping.

“Security is ingrained in every part of BlackBerry’s portfolio, which includes voice and data encryption solution. National and international government customers have entrusted their voice and data communications with the Secusmart Security Card for years. This same technology is what secures the new SecuTABLET,” said Dr. Hans-Christoph Quelle, CEO of Secusmart.

According to BlackBerry, the tablet will go on sale this summer for about $2,380. It will also be showcased at the CeBit 2015 trade fair, which began today (March 16) in Hannover, Germany.

The SecuTABLET runs on Android, so everyone who has ever used an Android device, will have no problem using the device.

To remind you, this is the second overall tablet from BlackBerry, after its first PlayBook failed miserably.secuTABLET
