Sony Xperia E4 Sony India has announced the launch of its Xperia E4 dual smartphone in the Indian market. This budget Android phone was originally unveiled in February this year.

Priced at INR 12,490, the Sony Xperia E4 dual will go on sale beginning March 17 in Sony Stores and other major retailers across the country.

Sony Xperia E4 dual succeeds the company’s Xperia E3 smartphone in the Indian market, which is currently retailing around INR 9,000. There is no word on when Sony plans to release the single-SIM version of the E4 in the country.

To remind you, the Xperia E4 sports a 5-inch qHD IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. The phone also comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front shooter, 2300 mAh battery, and microSD card slot. In addition, Sony has included 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Android 4.4.4 and dual-SIM connectivity in the phone.

According to Sony, Xperia E4 dual will be available in Black and White colour options.

Sony will have a hard time getting buyers for the E4, as it packs almost the same specifications as Moto E (2nd Gen) smartphone and the latter is available for almost half the price.
