XOLO, TRUE, and Nexian to launch Chrome OS devices

Nexian Chromebook In addition to the new Chrome OS devices, Google on Tuesday also revealed that XOLO, TRUE, and Nexian are joining as the new Chrome OS partners. All three companies will be releasing new Chrome OS products in the coming months.


There is no details available at this point, but a video shared by Google showcases Chromebooks from XOLO and Nexian in action. So, I guess, we can expect at least these two to arrive soon. We hope to learn more in the coming weeks.


For those of you, who don’t know about XOLO, TRUE and Nexian; XOLO is an Indian smartphone and tablet vendor, TRUE is a Thai communications giant and Nexian is an Indonesia smartphone vendor.


Google has also stated that we can expect to see around ten new Chrome OS devices over the next few months, including models from Dell, HP, Lenovo and LG.


Chrome OS getting new features


In related news, Google has announced that it is upgrading the Chrome OS to include new features like a touch-centric interface. The company is also opening the App Runtime for Chrome to everyone.
