OnePlus has revealed that it is foraying into the drone business via an official tweet. The tweet says that the firm will be launching a product this month and that it will be named DR-1. It seems like the OnePlus DR-1 is not an April Fools’ prank played by the Chinese firm.
The details pertaining to the OnePlus DR-1 Drone seem to be scarce right now. The firm has posted a quick snippet on Vine, but even that fails to reveal much about the upcoming drone. If OnePlus really launches a drone, it would be impressive if the device can be controlled by means of your smartphone.
Also, in the recent teasers that were posted by OnePlus, it looks like a guy is holding a huge controller of some kind. We can soon expect to receive the invites for the OnePlus drone launch.
