HTC 10 is receiving another security patch update in the USA. This time the update comes for unlocked variants. If you are angry that HTC doesn’t send regular updates to your device, at least they send updates in USA. Users in EU hardly receive security updates.

The latest update, as usual, arrives as an OTA update and brings June security patch for HTC 10. The update comes with version number 2.50.617.2.

The HTC 10 is the predecessor of HTC’s latest release HTC U11. The June security patch update, which weighs around 277.74 MB takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs.

The update also includes various other under-the-hood performance improvements as well as other minor system enhancements too. It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent.
