Google Assistant could finally start speaking Korean as early as this month. The search engine giant’s Google Assistant was initially scheduled to offer its services in Korean language starting sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.

But, according to the latest reports from a Korean media, the Google Assistant services could debut in Korean starting with the LG V30 which will be launched on August 31. For those who are not in the know, beta testing for Google Assistant in Korea had already begun a few months ago.

Google Assistant, for the unaware, is an artificial intelligence based personal assistant which is currently on all the devices running Android Nougat and on most of the devices with Marshmallow.

Like any other personal assistant, the Google Assistant can help you get things done and make your life a bit easier. You can ask it to set up reminders, send text messages, make phone calls, play music, tell you jokes or whatever you fancy.

LG, however, declined to confirm if the Google Assistant in Korean will debut with the LG V30 on August 31 by saying “We do not confirm any details about the unreleased product.”
