MIUI 9 update released for Mi Max, Mi Max 2, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus as version beta 7.8.24 ROM [Download]

Xiaomi has now released the MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 7.8.24 update to its second batch of supported devices which include the Xiaomi Mi Max, Mi Max 2, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s, and Mi 5s Plus.

With this update, folks using the said phones alongside the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Redmi Note 4X/Redmi Note 4 (Qualcomm) will be able to test the Global Beta ROM on their smartphones provided they have already registered for the same.

The new MIUI 9 ROM brings along with it a few changes and the full changelog for the same is as follows:
