Sony is seeding new software updates for the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZ1, and the Xperia XZ1 Compact. The updates are available over-the-air for all three devices.
Since this is a phased rollout, you may not see the update for a couple of days. There aren’t any new features included in this update, as far as we know. It only includes the latest December Android security patch.
The software build number for all three devices is 47.1.A.8.49. Once you receive the update, your software should be updated to this build number. The Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact came pre-installed with Android 8.0 Oreo, whereas the XZ Premium was recently updated to Oreo.

In case you haven’t received this update, then you can head to Settings to check for the update manually. Do not worry though, as the update should arrive in the next few days. Sony has also rolled out the Oreo update for the Xperia XZ, XZs and the Xperia X Performance.
