Asus is rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo to the ZenFone 3 Zoom. The company had previously promised that the OS will roll out to the handset by end of June 2018 and indeed it has lived up to its word.
The update is targeting the ZenFone 3 Zoom with model number ZE553KL and comes with software version V80.20.179.40. Like any other Android update, this one is rolling out over the air, meaning it will take some time before all ZenFone 3 Zoom units get the OTA notification to download the OS.

Fortunately, you don’t have to wait this long before you can start enjoying Android Oreo on your ZenFone 3 Zoom handset. Rather, you can force the update via Settings > About > System updates > Check Update and download the OS manually.
