Huawei has a new software update for users of the Nova 2i. The update, which is rolling out over the air, brings the much-anticipated Android 8.0 Oreo alongside the company’s EMUI 8.0 skin on top.
The Nova 2i, for those who didn’t know, is the same device as the Mate 10 Lite. In fact, it was never a doubt that the Nova 2i Oreo update will be out this soon considering that the Mate 10 Lite also started receiving the update only a few days ago. Mostly, the name Nova 2i is popular in Southeast Asia.

Since this is an OTA update, not everyone using Huawei Nova 2i will receive the notification to download the OS today. Some will have to wait for a few days, but you can try forcing the update via the device’s Settings menu, although this doesn’t guarantee you get the update immediately.
