Verizon Wireless has been quite impressive with Android 8.0 Oreo updates. The Big Red updated the LG G6 to Oreo back in May, making it the first carrier in the U.S to update the device to this software. AT&T then released the same update to the G6 in early June and today, T-Mobile joins the party with an update that brings software version H87220a and installs Android Oreo.

The update is rolling out over the air, which means it may take days or weeks before every user gets the download notification. If you can’t wait, now might be the right time to hit the Settings > About phone menu.
