Leading telecom operator, Verizon Wireless, on its website, has announced the release of a new software update for the ZTE Blade Vantage. This update is only for those phones that are carrier-locked by Verizon. Notably, this update comes three months after Verizon last pushed an OTA update for the phone.

Just like three months earlier, this new update offers the latest security patch that brings the phone’s Android security level up to November 2018 from the erstwhile August 2018. The new update bears software version Z839V1.0.0B21 and can be downloaded directly by tapping on the update notification on your phone.

Before you commence downloading the update, make sure your phone is fully charged and that it has a strong Verizon Wireless network or a Wi-Fi connection.

Verizon recently released software updates for plenty of other phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Note 9, and devices from Galaxy S series and J series. Verizon also recently launched a brand new phone aimed at adventurers in partnership with Kyocera, the Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2.
