T-Mobile is currently seeding a new software update for the recently launched OnePlus 6T. The new build arrives as version A6013_34_181121 and weighs 110.2MB.

According to the changelog, the new firmware brings a handful of improvements to the table. First of all, it adds an updated camera app, and in-display fingerprint algorithm. This is quite important since people on the forums have mentioned noticing their in-display fingerprint sensor is faster now.

On top of that, the Play Store download notification issue has been fixed, and functions like Face unlock and hidden Wi-Fi AP login UI optimized. After the update, the unlock speed with live wallpapers should be better too, as well as audio quality.

Interestingly enough, the new version appears to bring the November 2018 security patch, instead of the December patch, which is a bit bizarre.

The install time is 5 minutes, so you should be able to be done with it very quickly. As always, make sure you have some battery life left in your device before attempting to download. Of course, you should find and connect to a stable Wi-Fi first.

If you’re an OnePlus 6T owner on the T-Mobile network, keep your eyes on your phone for the update notification. Did you get it yet?
