Sony Xperia M2 announced to be available from mid March

Sony along with Xperia Z2 has launched Xperia M successor, the Xperia M2 which has a bigger display and better camera and processor.

Sony Xperia M2 features a 4.8" qHD display, Snapdragon Series 400 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage along with external expansion option. Sony Xperia M2 runns on Android 4.3 Jellybean with Sony UI on top of it.

Sony Xperia M2 also got a bump in optics department with a 8-megapixel camera and LED flash capable of recording Full HD videos Sony has got right ingredients in this mid-range recipe. There is also a front camera but of unknown resolution. Sony Xperia M2 also has a big 2300mAH battery to last through a day with heavy usage.

Sony Xperia M2 has got a general set of connectivity options which is preset across Sony Xperia lineup like NFC, 2G, 3G, dual band WiFi a/b/g/n, GPS, aGPS, DLNA, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, USB on-the-go and USB host. Sony has not announced a dual sim variant of Sony Xperia M2 but it is expected that Xperia M2 Dual will also be launched at some time.

Sony Xperia M2 will come in three color options Purple, Black and White and will be available in market from mid March. Sony Xpeia M2 is expected to cost below ₹ 16000 though actual pricing details is not revealed as of now.
