#1 Xiaomi Redmi 1S - ₹ 5,999

Redmi 1S 

Xiaomi Redmi 1S is one of the finest smartphone with 1.6GHz Quad Core CPU, 4.7” HD Display and 8-megapixels HD Camera along with MIUI OS it’s just perfect. Xiaomi has also earned good brand name among Indian users with Mi3 success. Service Centre’s are limited to big metro’s currently which is major drawback and it isn’t easy to order one is another headache.

#2 Micromax Canvas 2 Colors A120 - ₹ 8,099



Micromax has been a huge hit among Indian masses and has caused a ripple among top boy’s to reconsider their strategy. Micromax Canvas 2 Colors A120 is finely designed smartphone with 5” HD Display and 1.3GHz Mediatek CPU and 1GB RAM it is a decent performer. The main selling point is its design and colorful options. It also has 8-megapixels rear camera for photo junkie’s.

The only downside of owning a Micromax handset is brand value which is not as good as Samsung and Sony, if you regularly switch smartphone’s the resale value will be very low.

#3 Moto E - ₹ 6,999



Moto E was a huge hit with sexy design and Android Kitkat along with decent specification and affordable price it almost hurt every other Indian and Chinese brand. It came packed with 4.3” Display, Stereo Speakers on front just like HTC Phones and 1.2GHz Dual Core CPU paired with 1GB RAM and Dual SIM it was a instant hit.

Only downside of Moto E is it’s 5-megapixel camera which is fixed focus and lack of front camera.

#4 Sony Xperia M - ₹ 9,999



Sony Xperia M is one of the Sony’s most successful handset which changed companies fortune in 2013 and now it’s price is lowered and at just ₹ 9,999 it’s a decent buy for branded product. It comes with 4” Display and Dual Core CPU along with 1GB RAM and 5-megapixels camera.

Sony Xperia M is not the best among four but it’s definitely best branded smartphone besides Moto E.

#5 Micromax Unite2 A106 - ₹ 6,799


Micromax Unite 2 A106 is one of the best Micromax handset of 2014 as it was just a perfect combination and true value for money handset. It feature’s 1.2 GHz Quad Core CPU along with 1GB RAM, Android 4.4, 4.7” Display and comes in attractive design. Moreover it has 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel Rear- Front Camera combo which is great given the price.

There’s nothing against this smartphone as it is among one of the best smartphone under ₹ 7,000 though Xiaomi Redmi 1S has taken the top spot. As its hard to find Redmi 1S and if you are in hurry or tired of waiting go for Unite2 and you won’t be disappointed.
