Root Micromax Canvas A1 Android One Easily

Micromax has launched Canvas A1 its first Android A1 handset in India at a price of ₹ 6,499. It comes with Google guarantee for latest software updates and is well received by both critics and public all alike.

In today's tutorial  we would like to show how to root Micromax Canvas A1 easily.

Thing Required

• Micromax Canvas A1
• A Micro USB CABLE
• A windows pc with ADB - If ADB is not installed follow this short guide
• Lil time and patience

Step by Step Guide

1. Make sure to Backup your Android Device as this process will wipe entire internal storage.
2. Install the USB Drivers on PC.
3. Enable USB Debugging by going in Settings>Developer Options and then clicking on check box beside Enable USB Debugging. In case of trouble enabling the Developer Settings watch this video.
4. Rename the recovery file to recovery.img and move it to folder where adb tools are located.
5. Open Minimal ADB Tools and run 5-9 commands one by one by connecting phone to PC.
6. adb reboot bootloader
7. fastboot oem unlock
8. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
9. fastboot reboot
10. Now simply transfer the download SuperSU.zip to your device using data cable.
11. Reboot to recovery by entering  adb reboot recovery
12. In recovery use volume button or soft key to scroll and select Install.zip and browse to place where you transferred your SuperSu.zip
13. Install it and reboot and hurray you now have root access.
