Asus launches Zenfone 4 Selfie, Selfie Pro phones in India

Taiwanese manufacturer Asus on Thursday announced the arrival of its Zenfone 4 Selfie smartphones in India. The company is offering three Selfie-series phones – Zenfone 4 Selfie ZB553KL, Zenfone 4 Selfie ZD553KL and Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro ZD552KL. The ZB553KL model is a brand new version of the Zenfone 4 Selfie and India seems to be the first market to get it.

As the names suggest, all the newly launched Zenfone 4 phones are targeted to the consumers, who want great imaging capabilities in the front shooter of their smartphone.

Talking about the individual models, both Zenfone 4 Selfie ZB553KL and ZD553KL have quite a lot in common like 5.5-inch high definition screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, Android 7.0 Nougat and 3000 mAh battery. The phones however differ in terms of the RAM, internal storage and imaging capabilities.

The Zenfone 4 Selfie ZB553KL includes a 13MP f2.0 front camera with soft LED flash, 13MP f2.2 rear camera with LED real tone flash, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the other hand, Zenfone 4 Selfie ZD553KL comes with dual camera set-up on the front with a 20MP f2.0 sensor and an 8MP wide-angle f2.4 sensor. In terms of memory, the phone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro is a step up from both Zenfone 4 Selfie model. The phone packs a 5.5-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and 3000 mAh battery. For the shutterbugs, there dual camera setup on the front with a 12MP f1.8 dual-pixel sensor and a 5MP f2.2 sensor. You can check out the detailed specifications of each model later in the post.

Pricing and availability

According to Asus, ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie Series will be available on sale beginning September 21, 2017 exclusively on Flipkart. Here are the prices.
