Yu Mobiles has launched the Yureka 2 smartphone in India. The phone has been priced at INR 11,999 and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart. It will join the company’s Yureka lineup, which already includes devices like Yureka Black, Yureka S, Yureka Note and Yureka Plus.
According to Yu Mobiles, Yureka 2 sports metal unibody design. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU and 3930 mAh battery.
On the software side, the phone runs on dated Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which is two-years-old. There is no word on whether the company plans to release Nougat or Oreo updates in the future.
Among other specifications, Yureka 2 packs 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, Yu has included 4G VoLTE support, fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM slots, and microSD card slot in the smartphone.
Yu Mobiles notes that Yureka 2 will be offering in Gold colour and the sales open September 20.
