HMD Global has announced collaborations with three leading wireless providers in North America – Cricket Wireless and Verizon in the United States and Rogers Communications, Inc. in Canada. As a part of the collaborations, the company is releasing the Nokia 3.1 on Cricket’s 4G LTE network and Nokia 2 V on Verizon. The Nokia 3.1 Plus has a 5.99-inch HD+ display, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel front camera. It has a metal matte finish in most part of the back, comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back, has dedicated Dual SIM and microSD slots, and packs a 3500mAh battery that promises up to 2 days of battery life. It packs 2GB LPPDDR3 RAM with 32GB storage that is further expandable up to 400GB with microSD. It packs a fingerprint sensor for security needs.
