Advantages and Disadvantages of rooting.

Things Required

• Microamax Canvas A350.
• A Windows PC.
• Download Micromax Canvas Knight A350 Root Package and SuperSU.zip

Step By Step Guide

1. Enable Developer Settings by Going to Settings>About Phone>Build Number and tapping it seven times repeatedly.
2. Enable USB Debugging by going in Settings>Developer Options and then clicking on check box beside Enable USB Debugging. In case of trouble enabling the Developer Settings watch this video.
3. Download and Extract the files from Root Package.
4. Install USB Drivers for Micromax Canvas Knight A350.
5. Now Extract SP Flash Tool and Run Flash Tool.exe.
6. Then click on scatter loading and select the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt file.
   
7. Make sure only recovery is checked and then click on locations tab and select the recovery.img extracted from Root Package.
   
8. Now Turn Phone off and wait for few seconds to make sure it completely turns off.
9. Click on Download and Connect the phone using data cable.
   
10. After flash is successful you should see a Green Ring appear disconnect and start your device.
11. Now Reboot your device and transfer the SuperSU file to your phone.
12. Turn off device and start by holding all three buttons together i.e Vol Up + Vol Down + Power Buttons.
13. You will enter in recovery mode then click Vol Up to Go To CWM Recovery.
14. Click on Install zip from SD Card and Selecting SuperSU and clicking on Yes to install. [Use Volume Up Down to Navigate and Power Key to Select]
15. Congratulation you have successfully rooted your Knight now enjoy the benefits of rooting.

• Click I agree and get Unlock Code in your email which you used to login.
• Then at last type fastboot oem unlock Unlock Key the Unlock Key underlined is your key you received through email.

Congratulation now your bootloader is unlocked

How to Root Micromax Unite 2 A106

• Download the Root Package and Extract.
• Install USB drivers for MTK devices.
• Copy UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.94.zip SuperSU file on your device’s internal memory. Make sure not to put it in any folder.
• Extract the contents of SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1344.0.212.rar and double click on Flast_tool.exe to open it.
• Click on the scatter loading button and select MT6582_Android_scatter_emmc.txt.
• Extract Root_Micromax_Unite_2_XDA.rar and select by double clicking on the BOOTIMG text and selecting boot.img extracted . Similarly, click on the RECOVERY text and select the recovery image.

How to Root Your Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM G900F)(Exynos)(International) Quick and Easy

Samsung Galaxy S5 India and Exynos Variant Rooting guide

Things required:

1. Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F
2. A windows pc
3. Software and CWM file
4. Data cable
5. A bit of time and patience

Step 1

Determine your Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F. First, make sure you have either International exynos G900F model which is available in India.

Step 2

Download required file after determing the model number

• CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.zip

Step 3

Download software and drivers from below

Download appropriate CWM or TWRP recovery for your Note 3 (Make sure you download the CORRECT version for your Note 3 model!!!)

Download ODIN program and unzip.

Download SuperSU.zip file do not unzip

Download and install Samsung USB drivers

Step 4

Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S5 and Hold down, Volume Down, Center Home, and Power buttons together for about 2-3 seconds then let go of all buttons when you see a warning screen  hit Volume Up button to enter Download mode. like below

Step 5

You should now see Download mode. This is the ODIN download mode where you can use ODIN to install custom recovery.  Plug a micro-USB cable from your Galaxy S5 to your computer.

Step 6

Run ODIN program you downloaded earlier in Step 1. (only for Windows or use VMWare on Linux/Mac).

Note: On windows vista/7/8 right click on odin.exe and run as administrator

Step 7

You should see a yellow-highlighted box with a random COM number in ODIN program.  If you do not see it, download and install Samsung USB drivers then unplug/re-plug the micro-USB cable.

Also, you may have to use a USB 3.0 cable supplied with your Galaxy S5, try plugging it in a USB 3.0 port first and if that doesn’t work plug it into a regular USB 2.0 port.  One of them should work.

Step 8

DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE but choose “PDA” in ODIN program then find the .tar file from chainfire root package you downloaded first then hit Start button.

Step 9

Your Note 3 should now reboot. When rebooted, copy the SuperSU zip file you downloaded in Step 1 to your Note 3 internal storage.

Step 10

Hold down, Volume Up, Center Home, and Power buttons together for about 6-7 seconds then let go of all buttons.

Step 11

You should now be in CWM recovery. Choose “Install zip”, then “Install from sdcard”, then choose the SuperSU zip file you downloaded earlier.

Step 12

Reboot and your Galaxy S5 should be rooted.  You can verify by downloading and running Root Checker app from Play Store.

Step 1

Extract odin 3.07 and run it. 

Step 2

turn phone off wait for 5 secs hold volume down+home key+power key together to enter download mode and when warning screen comes press volume up key

Step 3

Connect phone to pc and it should be shown in blue box under id:com.

IMPORTANT NOTE: DONT CHECK ANY OPTION and click to uncheck auto reboot

STEP 4

CLick pda and select the downloaded cwm file i.e recovery.tar.md5

STEP 5

hit start and wait till the com port shows a green pass.

Step 6

pull battery and put it back and reboot to recovery using volume up+home+power.

Step 7

Click on update.zip then select apply update from SD card and scroll down to select downloaded superuser file and apply update [Use volume up down for up or down. power button to select an option and home key to go back]

step 8

click reboot and you can enjoy all the benefits of rooting

NOTE :- Never click reboot recovery in advanced option in CWM Recovery it will cause bootloop i.e phone wont start and you will have to factory reset or repeat this process again.
