Pebble announced today the new Pebble Steel.
Everyone knew that ‘something special’ was coming today at CES, and now it’s here. The sequel to pebble has a more premium look and feel to the older plastic model. It looks elegant and stylish.
The big change in the Steel is the new hardware – the stainless steel body and buttons, the Corning Gorilla Glass front, and the brushed stainless and black matte bands. It has the same interface as before, and can run the same apps. It’s also keeping the magnetic connector, but it looks to be slightly different than the older Pebble thus making it better than its predecessor while keeping up with compatibility.
Along with the the new hardware, there's a new price tag and you can own Pebble Steel for $249, directly from the website.
