Xiaomi Mi 4 to be launched on 22nd July Metal UniBody Confirmed

Xiaomi has started expanding to other markets and with Mi 3 launch at ₹ 14,999 has entered the Indian market, but now Xiaomi is sending press invites and is teasing the release of their upcoming flagship which will known as Mi 4.

Xiaomi has posted an image with number 4 captioned July 22nd, Xiaomi’s annual product launch event. We will tell the story about “The journey of a piece of steel metal”, which confirms the release of metal unibody Mi 4 coming 22nd July.

Mi 4 is rumored to have Snapdragon 801 Quad Core CPU along with 5.2″ Full HD 1080p Display. Xiaomi Mi 4 other expected specification are 3-GB RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera and MIUI OS 6 based on Android 4.4 Kitkat.

Last week Xiaomi Mi 4 body frame was leaked and these week Xiaomi invite indeed confirms that Mi 4 will feature metal chassis. Xiaomi may also add a LTE variant and it shall be priced similar to Xiaomi Mi 3 launch price, which stood  at about 317$.

Xiaomi is keeping no stone unturned with back to back new devices, they are even hungrier than before. Soon the threat from Xiaomi will be evident which will bring a never ending price war among manufacturers to ultimately benefit the consumers.
