HP after the failure of Palm OS was out of Smartphone race has now turned to android to make a second entry in the rapidly expanding Mobile and Tablets market and HP has selected India to be their primary market. HP is going to launch a 6"inch phablet named HP Slate 6 and HP Slate 7 and recently we reported it was sony who launched 6" affordable tablet Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and T2 Ultra Dual looks like now its HP's turn.

HP phablets will be running on Android Jellybean 4.2 and will have an quad core CPU, with internal memory of 16GB and will support memory cards upto 32GB. These Tablets will support voice calling also and 6" version will come with 720p screen i.e 1280x700 and 7' version will have 1280x800 resolution display.

Pricing and launch details are yet unknown but if HP manages to launch these phablets with a decent price its surely going to get attention or else Indian market is too crowded and HP might loose the audience. HP needs to price them in between Rs 18000-23000 mark.
