MIUI one of the best custom rom besides Cyanogen Mod has unveiled the MIUI V6 and its Flat, Sleek and Elegant. MIUI V6 is currently under limited beta with 1,000 users testing it. The number of testers will be bumped to 10,000 next week and it will be available in stable form in October.
MIUI 6 has taken inspiration from iOS 8 and everything is made clean and flat with lots of colors, transparency. MIUI 6 is more of refinement and optimization rather than a big features overhaul. MIUI 6 has an updated camera with easy to use swipe gestures for quick actions.
Gestures are built in, Lockscreen Notifications have taken a lesson from Android L and Immersive mode got really immersive with different apps displaying same color in status bar as the app. Clean Master is integrated along with Virus Scanner which makes phone secure.
Then there's Home Screen gestures, Incoming Call popup on top while using apps, and many more features. Music apps learns from you and Mi Assistant is now in version 2.
MIUI 6 is available in limited beta stage for Mi 4 and Mi 3 Snapdragon Variant (cancro). It will be available in public beta sometime early next month.
Mi 2 and Redmi series will be updated after Mi 3 and Mi 4 stable build is out.
