Google sending 15% off coupon for Pixel and Pixel XL by email

In what seems to be an attempt to clear the existing stock, Google is currently sending a 15% off coupon to all the folks who have had either of the Pixel devices in their cart on store.google.com.

This was first spotted by a reddit user who goes by the moniker thebooch. He further added that the effective price for the Google Pixel XL comes down to $699 (including taxes) for the 32GB variant. That’s a pretty decent deal if you’ve been planning to gift yourself a Pixel handset.

Google is expected to unveil the next-gen Pixel phones later this year. The Pixel XL2, in fact, paid a visit to GFXBench only yesterday. As per the listing, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is sort of obvious.

Interestingly, the device was spotted with a 5.6-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1312 pixels (QHD) which is the same as the recently launched Essential Phone. So, it’s highly likely that the device will get a near bezel-less display.

Other rumored specs include 4GB of RAM, Android 7.1.1 Nougat, 12MP rear camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera.
