Huawei Mate 8 is currently receiving a new OTA update that brings April security patch to the device. The update brings in improved system performance, optimized stability, and better system security.
The update that weighs around 1.3GB also brings in many bug fixes viz. Bluetooth keyboard now works perfectly on Huawei Mate 8.
It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and since the update weighs around 1.3GB, make sure you have enough free storage. Further, keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent.
And, if you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually via the device settings. Go to Settings – About – Software updates.
