Asus ZenFone 4 with Snapdragon 660 clocked at 2.21GHz hits Geekbench

Only a few days back we learnt that Asus is gearing up to launch five new smartphones belonging to ZenFone 4 series thus expanding the ZenFone line. Out of these five smartphones, one has landed at Geekbench giving us more reasons to guess that its release is just round the corner.  Asus ZenFone 4 bearing model number ASUS_Z01KD has got listed on the benchmarking site.

As per Geekbench, Asus ZenFone 4 will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 2.21GHz. Under the hood will be stocked a 4GB RAM. On the software front, it will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. With regards to other specifications, the Geekbench does not prove of much help.

Notably, there will be two variants of ZenFone 4 as a past report mentioned. The ASUS ZenFone 4 lineup includes ZenFone 4 ZE554KL that exists in two models viz ASUS_Z01KDA and ASUS_Z01KD.  The ZenFone 4 (ZE554KL) comes as the successor to last year’s ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL).

The other four devices in ZenFone 4 series are — ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL) , ZenFone 4 Pro (Z01GD), ZenFone 4 Selfie (Z01M) and ZenFone 4V (V520K).

According to a recent report, the company should launch these products by the end of this month. The company recently revealed that it had to delay the launch of these smartphones due to “design overhaul and efficiency upgrades.”
