Huawei Y3 (2017), one of the company’s new entry-level handsets could soon launch in Egypt.

A support page for the smartphone has gone live on the company’s official Egyptian website which hints that the smartphone is not very far from launch in the country.

The Huawei Y3 (2017) was first announced a couple of months ago. The smartphone features a quad-core 1.1GHz MediaTek MT6737M chipset coupled with Mali T720 graphics.

It packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage space with the option to expand it further up to 32GB if needed.

The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.0-inch FWVGA display. There’s an 8MP f/2.0 rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based EMUI 4.1 Mini out of the box. A 2,200mAh battery provides the juice for the device.
