HTC U12+ Android Pie update
Expected release date: Q4 2018
Released in June 2018 with Android 8.0 Oreo running the show, the HTC U12+ is an obvious candidate for the new Android Pie update. And indeed the company has already confirmed that the Pie update will be rolled out to the U12+, but the date remains unknown.
Last year, Android Oreo was rolled out to the HTC U11 in November and while we don’t expect much of a change with respect to the HTC U12+ Android Pie update, the presence of Project Treble should help speed up the update, which could see it arrive in October 2018.
