Verizon is rolling out software updates for the new Samsung handsets in the budget range, the Galaxy J3 V 3rd Gen and Galaxy J7 V 2nd Gen handsets. Verizon reveals that the software patch on the devices has been updated to July 2018.
Identified as model no. SM-J337V and SM-J737V respectively, their prepaid variants go by the model nos. SM-J337VPP and SM-J737VPP, which also happen to be receiving their first update today.
Here is the software version for each of the handsets:
- Galaxy J3 V (postpaid), SM-J337V – J337VVRU1ARG1
- Galaxy J3 V (prepaid), SM-J337VPP – J337VPPVRU1ARG1
- Galaxy J7 V (postpaid), SM-J737V – J737VVRU1ARG1
- Galaxy J7 V (prepaid), SM-J737VPP – J737VPPVRU1ARG1
