We know that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus next month. These two may be grabbing all the headlines, but we all know they aren’t the only products the Korean company is lining up for the MWC 2019 event that begins on February 25.
Not long ago, we spotted a certain Samsung Galaxy Sport smartwatch on the FCC and while this came as no surprise since the tech giant has been selling smartwatches for years now, there is something new being lined up as well.
There have been rumors that Samsung could debut its own set of earbuds to match Apple’s AirPods and indeed, the latest Bluetooth SIG listing does reveal what is inevitably the company’s answer to Cupertino. Apparently, the earbuds, which are described as a smart wearable, will be called Galaxy Buds.
From the listing, we can tell the Galaxy Buds will have model number SM-R170 and will support the latest Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Unfortunately, though, that’s all we have on the wearable, but more details should begin showing up as we get closer to the S10 launch.
Samsung is expected to unveil at least three variants of the S10 at the Unpacked event next month, details of which are captured below.
