Long after the global variant of the Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8 were treated to the beta version of Android Pie, Samsung is now bringing the US variants on par too.
Till now, the beta version of Android Pie was not available for our friends in the US, but that changes today. Users have confirmed to receiving the Android Pie beta update ZSAB for the Galaxy S8 sets and Galaxy Note 8.
Coming in as software version ZSAB, the OTA update carrying Android 9 Pie beta along with One UI is now available for the users of Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8 in the US.
With the Pie update, users get new features like Digital Wellbeing, Adaptive Brightness, Adaptive Battery, Gesture Navigation, and a lot more. But we won’t blame you if you are more excited with what Samsung brings with the Pie update, that is One UI.
One UI is Samsung fresh take on UI for mobile devices, and to has impressed us a lot, even if it’s reportedly causing a few problems to some. See more about One UI features here.
