Huawei released the stable version of Android 9 Pie to the Mate 10 Pro in November 2018, but its only now that the same update is arriving in the U.S.
Huawei was among the fastest non-Google OEMs to roll out Android Pie updates to several of its devices back in 2018 and while the international variant of the Mate 10 Pro didn’t have any delay problems, those in the U.S. using model BLA-A09 have had to wait for months for the arrival of EMUI 9.0.
The update is arriving as EMUI 9.0.0.201 (C567E6R1P11) and weighs a whopping 4.13GB. The update, as part of Pie, brings new gestures for navigation, digital balance, smart shopping with AR, new UI for settings and notifications, and so on.
It seems the rollout begun a few days ago, with more people reporting that the OTA is now available for download on their U.S. variants of the Mate 10 Pro.
If you haven’t received the update yet, be sure to check it out in the settings menu, but be sure to get a stable Wi-Fi connection to grab this huge update.
