Xiaomi MIUI 10 is receiving a new beta update to version 9.3.21, which started rolling out yesterday to a few users of Xiaomi Mi 9, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and many other eligible phones.

The most noticeable addition is the waterdrop screen shape switch that now appears in the full-screen settings of Xiaomi Mi 9, Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro, devices that come with a waterdrop-style notch.

A good number of users have complained about the lock screen notification bar double display problem while others say the face prompt doesn’t disappear in time. If this is you, be sure to grab this new MIUI 10 beta update for fixes to these issues.

Those using the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 7 are receiving optimizations with a fully upgraded game toolkit, support for lock screen autoplay, and one-click switch network card, among other functions.

As for the Mi 9 and Mi 8 Pro, issues related to abnormal flashing when entering landscape mode interface after either device is unlocked have also been addressed in this update.

For now, the only way to get MIUI 10 beta 9.3.21 is via an OTA update, but this is limited to current beta testers. Xiaomi is expected to make public the download links to recovery and fastboot files that can be used for manual installation.
