After Apple popularizing the notch display, a number of smartphone makers have followed suit by placing a notch in their devices. However, Samsung, to preserve its reputation, has taken a slightly different route to realizing its dream of a full bezel-less Galaxy phone.
It is all but confirmed that Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S10, will come with Infinity O display that will have a small circular cut-out, hiding the selfie camera snugly inside. However, some pleasing rumors are also doing the rounds that the Samsung Infinity O display will debut much earlier with the mid-range Galaxy A8s.

But there is a new twist to the whole story. Now, it seems Huawei might steal a march over the Samsung in launching a phone with a hole drilled in the display.
Slashleaks has outed an image of the alleged Huawei Nova 4 in the hands of people, apparently the Huawei employees. The zoomed out image of the phone clearly showcases the front of the phone with a hole on the top left corner of the display – similar to what we have been expecting for the Galaxy A8s and the Galaxy S10.
The Slashleaks’ claim has acquired legitimacy further as we discovered that the Chinese manufacturer has just recently teased a poster (featured image) of a forthcoming smartphone with a holo-screen on Weibo, though it stopped short of naming the handset.
Nevertheless, the poster corresponds to the alleged Nova 4’s live image in terms of design and the size of the displays. So, we can say the Huawei Nova 4 is very much on its way, but whether it will beat the Galaxy A8s in the race to launch that remains to be seen. By the way, Huawei has confirmed its offering is landing in December, just next month.
