Gionee is all set to launch Gionee M2 with a massive 4200 mAH battery, yeah you heard that right almost double the size of current batteries. Gionee M2 is just listed on Gionee India Website.Gionee M2 will run Android 4.2 Jellybean and will have a 5" display with FWVGA resolution. M2 will be running on Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor similar to Micromax Canvas 2.2 coupled with 1 GB RAM. Internal memory is 4GB and can be expanded to 32GB via Micro-SD. It will support Dual-Sim and 3G is also present.
Gionee M2 has a 8-megapixels primary camera and 2-megapixels front camera taking care of optics. It also has usual bunch of connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS. The specially point in Gionee M2 is its battery which is 4200mAH and it can charge other smartphones through USB OTG just like Huawei Ascend Mate.
Launch and Pricing details are yet to be disclosed but considering the specification it should be priced below ₹ 13000 so as to compete with similar phones Micromax Canvas 2.2 and Intex Aqua Curve.
